MY WEALTHY AUNT HAD A HUGE SNAKE THAT CRIED LIKE A NEW BORN BABY AT NIGHT.
I still cry when I think about that day,it's trauma that will never ever be healed. So my uncle married a second wife some years back and a couple of months after introducing the second wife to the family,his first wife passed away.
It was a very weird death and it left us with so many questins. But my aunt the second wife was never a suspect. She was a warm,sweet and loving woman. Or so we thought.
The first wife on the other hand was tough and very strict. The first wife was heard screaming and crying for help in the middle of the house at night. By the time everyone got there she wasnt moving nor talking but looking very scared.
She was rushed to the hospital and was declared paralysed,mute,blind and deaf. Mind you ,this was someone who went to bed very healthy and sound. A couple of days later she passed away. We were all left dumbfounded and numb.
The funny thing about the whole situation was that she and the second wife lived in the same house but the night she screamed for help ,the second wife claimed to have heard nothing. She literally did not wake up that night.
She was shocked to hear that her sister wife was hospitalized the next morning. Since the passing of the first wife,the second wife locked the first wife's room and asked that no one ever goes anywhere near it. Which was okay at first but became weird as years passed.
She suddenly became rich and even with her riches she demanded that the first wife's room stays as it was. She extended their house with huge renovations but left the room as it was,the only thing she did was remove the window.
It became a dark room which everyone was told to ignore like it wasn't there. We honestly all knew that this was wrong and something was fishy. But my aunt had this strong aura about her that was very intimidating.
Confronting her was the scariest thing to do. We all noticed how there was a new born baby crying at night from the very same room that we weren't allowed in. My 5 year old nephew was the one who would tell us to sleep because it's just his mommy's pet snake.
This all got us very worried and scared and we would secretly fish for more from him and he would say is so casually like it's nothing major. He would tell us how the snake brings his mom money and power. He said his mom went to that room once a month to collect a lot of money from the snake.
He also said that the snake makes a lot of different sounds to communicate with his mom. Usually when it's the baby sound them it means it's hungry. When it makes thunder sounds it means it's uncomfortable.
Just as he was telling us this,the snake showed up at the top of our bedroom ceiling and we all ran out like we were not touching the ground. We've never been able to talk about this until last year.
I am now partially blind and my other cousin is partiall deaf. We've never went back to that house and we still wonder what happened to our nephew because it's like he just dissapeared since that night.
His mom says he's home but no one has ever seen him since. I wish I could get help getting the police to go search the house. But we are too scared to speak up.
