I
was a hobbo and I came across a man who drove a very fancy car. He asked me to get him rats and he would pay me good money. Before I even started with the job offered he gave me R1000.
I was encouraged to do the job. I got him the rats in a sac and he gave me R2000.Second time around he took me to this abondoned house and asked me to drop the rats in there for a month. He said he was going abroad and he wouldn't be around. He gave me R10 000 on the spot. He told me not to be afraid.
I was so excited I started hunting for a new apartment. I went to the house to deliver the rats the next day and left with no problems. On the third day I thought okay fine, the man is not there so let me cheat. I didn't go and what happened that night is something I doubt will ever believe even I tell you.
So admin let me continue anonymously cos hayi what if it trends? Anyway the day I decided to cheat was the worst mistake of my life. I went to buy myself food and on my way back to the room I had rented, I got lost. I found myself on the path to the abandoned house where I would drop off the rats. I changed direction and still found myself heading there three times. I don't even know how to explain the situation in that day but It was like I was going nowhere slowly because I remained in the same spot. I was in the bush road leading to the abondoned house.
I had no choice but to end up going there anyway. I'd never found anyone or anything there but on that day I found a very old man sitting by the door. He was holding a weird stick, the stick had a shape of a snake. I got there and greeted and he asked me if I was ready to lose one of my siblings. I was Confused for a minute and he called out my real names and all my sibling's name.
He said if I don't give him his food I will lose everyone I love including my street friends. He ordered me to bring him the rata or death will be my closest enemy. I ran away so fast and I went straight to rat hunting. After serving my week of the rat hunt I went back home. Before moving out in my rented room, the old madala used to follow me everywhere so I ran back home.
I have never seen the rich man again since his trip abroad but shem I have learned to refuse money from any strangers.
