MY HUSBAND STOLE FROM HIS WHITE BOSS NOW HE SPEAKS LIKE AN AFRIKANER AT NIGHT AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND

 

Please hide my identity. I'm going to try and summarise this and help me with mistakes on words please.

My husband has been working for this very stingy white man and his family for many years. Je started working there for the dad and when the dad passed away he then worked for the son. 

He was their driver. They own a very big farm so they distribute the produce to markets all over. My husband has always been inderpaid. He is in his late 40s now. So the problem is he starts work early and knocks off very late. Everyday when he knocks off he has to ke the bakkie to the boss's house and then go catch a taxi home.

All the many hours of work with very little pay but small is Better than nothing. One day when he went to take the bakkie he found the son very drunk in the bakkie that my husband drives. My husband called his wife to help him carry the boss to the house.

When he came back he found an uncut gold. Not too big but according to him it is worth a lot of money. He decided to keep and then went and burried it somewhere and decided that after a year or two he will quit the job and reward himself with the gold. 

The boss has never confronted him but what shocks us is at night in his sleeps he wakes up and talks deep afrikaans that i do not understand. The next morning he claims not to remember a thing. At first i thought he was just pranking me but realised that this is serious as time goes.

I am a nurse and i am always sleepy at work because i hardly sleep at home listening to my Afrikaans speaking husband all night. I started suspecting witchcraft when my husband started wearing khakhi shorts and shirts with boots even during winter. 

I decided to record him one night and made him listen the next day. He was so shocked and said the man speaking inside him is the now boss's dad...The man who hired my husband. That is when we started taking this serious. Before he stole the gold, he says there was always chaos at his boss's house. 

He was always drunk and jumpy. Since the gold went missing he is absolutely fine and does not seem jumpy anymore plus he doesn't drink anymore. On the other hand my husband now drinks a lot.

We consulted and the sangoma seemed very shock by our situation so we never  went back because we felt like he could be a scam or maybe new to this.

We went back to where he buried the gold and was nowhere to be found. We don't know what to do now. We go to church every sunday but no help. I now believe that white people also do witchcraft.
