The late Claudia Mathebula, affectionately known as Tokyo or Mma Monada, will be laid to rest this Saturday at Nkowa Nkowa. Claudia, who once shared a relationship with Limpopo hitmaker King Monada, tragically passed away after a short illness, leaving behind her 7-year-old daughter.
Those who were close to Claudia describe her as a loving mother and a vibrant soul who brought light to every space she entered. Many of her friends are deeply shattered, especially as King Monada continues to promote his gigs while his young daughter mourns the loss of her mother.
One person who has been publicly vocal about her pain is Nyeleti, who refers to herself as Claudia’s best friend. Nyeleti has been seen across social media platforms defending Claudia’s memory and urging the public not to reduce her identity to “King Monada’s baby mama”, insisting that there was much more to her than that title.
