I SAW MY BABY MAMA KARABO (IN GREEN) ON AFRICAN CASTING — I DON’T WANT THE CHILD ANYMORE, MLUNGU CAN BE THE FATHER
A heartbroken man has come forward with a story that has shaken him to the core and left him feeling humiliated in his own community.
According to the man, his world came crashing down after he allegedly saw a video of his baby mama, Karabo, circulating on adult-content platforms linked to African casting. The video, which has since spread rapidly on phones across the township, has become a painful public spectacle he says he cannot escape.
“I am devastated,” he said. “My biggest fear now is walking in the streets of my community.”
He claims that everywhere he goes — from Indian shops to car washes — men are openly watching the video. Even unemployed nyaope addicts, he says, deliberately turn up the volume when they see him approaching, just to make sure he knows they have watched the mother of his child exposed and intimate with another man.
“Ngibuhlungu,” he said. “I am in pain.”
The man says the humiliation cuts even deeper because this is the woman with whom he shares a child. He now fears that the child will forever remind him of what he has seen and the lifestyle he believes the mother chose.
“I don’t think I will be able to associate myself with the child anymore,” he said. “Every time I look at her, I will remember her mother.”
He also expressed anger over what he believes were lies told to him late last year. He says in December his baby mama was living large — drinking expensive Ice Tropez, moving from corner to corner, and claiming she had found a new job.
“I didn’t know that the job was selling spantu to a white man,” he said bitterly.
To make matters worse, he alleges that another video has surfaced showing Karabo and her friends involved in explicit group activities with one man, something he says left him utterly disgusted and emotionally broken.
What hurts him most, he says, is the loss of respect. “In December, my baby mama was untouchable,” he insisted. “Now the whole location has seen her.”
As the video continues to circulate, the man says he feels trapped, mocked, and stripped of dignity — a walking reminder of a scandal he never asked to be part of.
This story has sparked heated debates online, with many questioning the impact of viral adult content on families, children, and communities — while others argue about privacy, consent, and the cruel power of social media in township life.
One thing is clear: for this man, the damage is already done.
