Lesego was shot and killed at her home on the night of 20 July 2025. At first, people thought it was a robbery. But now, police say it was a planned murder— ordered by someone very close to her.
This week, on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, a foreign man was arrested. He later confessed that he was the one who shot Lesego.He told police that Lesego’s own stepfather, who works in the South African National Defence Force (SANDF),hired him to do it.
