Headline: Man Mistakes Albino Thief for a Ghost After Night Intrusion
A shocking incident occurred late last night after a man mistook a thief for a ghost in his own house. The strange event happened when the homeowner, who had installed CCTV cameras for security, noticed unusual movement inside his living room around midnight.
According to reports, the man was watching the live camera feed when he saw what appeared to be a pale, ghost-like figure moving slowly through his house. At first, he thought he was witnessing something supernatural and even froze in fear. But after zooming in on the footage, he realised it was not a ghost — it was a man with albinism who had broken intoi his house.
The intruder, identified by locals as a known drug addict and petty thief from the area, was allegedly high at the time. Witnesses said his appearance has drastically changed due to long-term drug use, which made him look even more ghostly in the dark.
When the homeowner shouted through the window, the intruder panicked and tried to escape, but community members who had been alerted by the commotion managed to catch him.
He was beaten by the angry crowd before being handed over to the police.
Residents say the man has been involved in several theft cases in the neighbourhood and is known for sneaking into people’s homes to steal electronics and money.
Social media users commented that they would have called a pastor instead of the police” because of how terrifying the sight was at first.
