VIDEO: watch a murder suspect lose her mind during her arrest
The Police in Tzaneen, Limpopo, have made a breakthrough in a horrific murder case that occurred at Morutji Village, Bolobedu South, following the arrest of a 31-year-old female suspect.
The suspect appears to have lost her mind during her confrontation by the community. In the video she appears to be dancing with her baby on her back, the same baby whose father she murdered and dismembered sadly.
One of her relatives says she is haunted by her late baby daddy. She lied to the family and said that she handed herself in but was released. But the family got suspicious when she was always in hiding claiming that she is scared of the community because they might just attack her.
On sassa day she left to go withdraw her children’s sassa money and that’s when her family notified the Capitec staff of her whereabouts.
It is alleged that the deceased, Isaiah Thomas Maphalle (42), was found murdered, with his body dismembered, wrapped in a maize meal bag, and buried in a shallow grave at the back of his house. The disturbing discovery was made after community members alerted the police.
A thorough investigation was immediately launched, which led to the arrest of the deceased’s alleged girlfriend, who is the suspect, on Thursday, 04 December 2025.
The motive behind the incident is still under Police investigations.
The suspect will appear before the Tzaneen Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 08 December 2025, facing a charge of murder.
