So I finally said I do to the love of my life, but little did I know that I was about to experience a whole new world. My mother in law liked me at first but hated me within a few months into the marriage.
I would like to believe that I am a spiritual person and some things I get to see that only spiritual people can see. Whenever I would visit my mother in law, night times were always hard. I could hardly sleep.
My mother in law's fence is covered with trees. There was also a well of water in the yard, you know that big hole that had a rope where you carry a bucket down with the rope then roll it up? My mamazala had one but it no longer had water.
I remember this one time she found me by the well of water and she was furious. She reprimanded me like I am some small child who stole her sweets. I was innocently just curious as to what's down there. Before I could even look I felt my legs heavy on me and my hair doing some dance.
My entire body hair was standing up. That's when she rushed out to tell me off. That night I couldn't sleep as always, but this time I could hear funny sounds and weird movements in my bedroom.
My husband was fast asleep,my daughter on the other hand was very restless. She was 9months old then. I got up to go wet my daughter's cloth since her temperature was high, and I also wanted to get her some water.
The whole was extremely dark and it felt like we were outside. There was this cold breeze that gave me the outside chill. I tried switching off the lights but they wouldn't switch off, when I looked around I could see two pairs of eyes.
One was red and the other was green. When I switched on my phone torch the eyes dissappeared and there were heavy movements as if something big was trying go get away from me. Whatever it was tripped over a white paint bucket that wasn't well closed.
When the eyes dissappeared my husband switched on the light because he heard me screening and the lights were now working. There was a white paint spill on the floor. He asked me what happened but I couldn't explain.
From that day on if I go outside at night, not even that late. From as early as 7pm I would always see some animal I can't even explain jumping into the well. One morning I decided to go peep while mother in law was still sleeping and I saw traces of the white paint in well.
When I turned around to leave mother inlaw was standing on her bedroom window looking at me very angrily. She had never ever spoken to me since that day. It's been 5years.
I have never told my husband anything because he adores his mother and he would never forgive me if I ever insinuated that she may be a witch.
