I MARRIED A MAN WHO TURNED INTO A SNAKE AT NIGHT

Confession: I Married a Man Who Turned Into a Snake at Night

I don’t know where to start, but for years I lived in a nightmare that no one believed. I married a man who, to everyone else, seemed perfect — handsome, successful, and generous. My parents adored him because he spoiled them with money, cars, and expensive gifts. To them, he was a blessing. But to me, he was a curse that nearly took my life.

At first, our marriage was normal, or at least it looked that way. But I began to notice strange things about him, especially at night. During intimacy, his body would change — his skin would turn cold and slimy, and his eyes would glow in the dark. Before I could even understand what was happening, he would literally turn into a snake. And then… he would disappear inside me. I would feel weak, paralyzed, unable to scream or fight back. When I woke up in the morning, I could barely move.

Every morning, he had a ritual. He would blow a strange black powder on my face — and just like that, my memory of the night before would vanish. I lived in confusion, always tired, always scared, but unable to explain what was wrong.

When I tried to tell my parents, they silenced me. They said I was ungrateful and that I didn’t appreciate the man who gave me everything. But what they didn’t see was the darkness I lived with — the things that happened behind closed doors. That man was no ordinary human. He was a wizard.

For years, I suffered in silence until one night I couldn’t take it anymore. I ran away and sought help from a sangoma. The rituals, the cleansing, and the protection he gave me saved my life. That man — the snake — could no longer find me.

Ironically, the sangoma who helped me heal is now my husband. With him, I finally found peace and safety. I will never forget what I went through, but I thank God every day for the courage to escape.

Some people marry love. Some marry wealth. I married a man who was not human — and survived to tell the story.
