THE UBER DRIVER THAT UNKNOWINGLY JOINED A VERY DARK MONEY RITUAL AFTER STEALING A BAG FULL OF MONEY FORGOTTEN IN HIS CAR BY HIS CLIENTS.

“Uber Driver’s Nightmare: The Bag of Money That Turned Into a Curse”

It started like any ordinary night shift for Sibusiso, a hardworking Uber driver from Johannesburg. He had been driving since late evening, picking up passengers from clubs and late-night offices. Around midnight, he received a request from two well-dressed men near Sandton. They looked calm, spoke politely, and carried a large black leather bag that they placed in the backseat.

Throughout the drive, the men spoke in low tones about “a successful offering” and “money returning home.” Sibusiso didn’t pay much attention; people talk strangely at night, he thought. They asked to be dropped off at an isolated area on the outskirts of Midrand. When they got out, one of them smiled faintly and said, “If you find what belongs to us, you’ll know what to do.” Then they disappeared into the darkness.

Sibusiso drove off without thinking much of it—until he reached home and noticed the bag still lying on the backseat. When he opened it, his heart nearly stopped. It was full of money—bundles upon bundles of crisp notes.

At first, he wanted to report it, but greed whispered louder. He told himself it was his blessing. Over the next few weeks, he used the money to buy new clothes, pay off debts, and even upgrade his car. Life suddenly felt too good to be true.

A month later, his phone rang. It was a strange number. The voice on the other end said calmly, “We left something in your car. We’ll come for it soon.” His blood ran cold. He lied and said he found nothing. The caller simply replied, “Very well, then. You have chosen your path.”

From that day, his life took a terrifying turn. He started hearing hissing sounds at night, especially near where he had hidden the remaining money. Food began to rot within hours. His mother fell mysteriously ill, crying out in her sleep that something was “wrapping around her legs.”

One night, desperate and confused, Sibusiso decided to take out the bag again and count what was left. When he opened it, instead of cash, a giant black snake slithered out. Its scales shimmered in the dim light, and around its neck was a small cloth with his mother’s name written on it in red ink.

That was the night his troubles truly began. His mother dissapered the next day and suddenly the snake was gone and the once almost empty bag was now full of money again.

To this day no one knows where his Mom is and even the police search went in vain. But Sbusiso was so used to spending money that he continued spending it. When the bag was almost empty again ,he found the same snake again and this time it had his wife's name on it.

The next day the wife too dissapered to this day and the bag once again was full of money. That is when he knew that he had entered a very dark world and he needed to get rid of the Bag before it finishes his loved ones. The night before his wife and mother dissapered they all screamed saying something was wrapping itself on them.

What hurt him the most was not knowing what happens to them.

Every attempt to destroy the snake only made things worse—it would reappear near his car or at the door, waiting.

In the end, Sibusiso confessed everything to a local pastor, who told him the money had been used in a dark money ritual—an offering meant to bind souls in exchange for wealth. By spending the cursed money, Sibusiso unknowingly took part in the ritual himself.

He lost everything—the car, the house, and eventually, his peace of mind. Today, he warns other drivers:

“Not every passenger you pick up is human. And not every bag of money is a blessing.”
