Lemondokop Village Calls a Traditional Healer After Mysterious Deaths

The people of Lemondokop village in Sekgosese, Limpopo, are living in fear after several young people died in strange ways. No one knows what is really happening, and the community is looking for answers.

Each household in the village gave R10 so they could hire a traditional healer to find out the truth. Many families say the deaths are linked to strange sicknesses, scary dreams, and strange things that happen at night.

After many meetings and no clear answers, the villagers agreed to turn to traditional ways for help.

“We can’t just sit and watch our children die,” said one villager. “We believe there is something spiritual happening.”

The traditional healer is expected to come to the village this weekend to do cleansing rituals asking ancestors for guidance.

The police and other authorities have not yet spoken about the matter, but the people of Lemondokop hope this will bring peace, protection, and answers to their village.
