VIDEO OF AMAHLE THE MISSING GIRL

THE CHILD IN THE VIRAL POST IS NOT AMAHLLE – PLEASE STOP SPREADING FAKE NEWS

Good day, South Africa. 🇿🇦

I am writing this because there is a lot of confusion and pain caused by a picture that has been circulating online. People have been claiming that the missing child Amahle has been found and that she is now living in Bangladesh. That information is false, and the picture that is being shared does not show Amahle.

The child in the picture is actually **Owam Mongale**, an 11-year-old girl from the Mongale family. Her mother, Sharol Nomsa Mongale, has already spoken out to explain the situation. She has made it very clear that her daughter was **born on 09 January 2014** and is safe at home with her family. The family is also heartbroken that their child’s image is being used in connection with a painful case that has nothing to do with them.

The confusion started when people on social media began sharing the photo without checking the facts. Someone even created a story saying Amahle had been taken to Bangladesh. That rumour has no evidence, no confirmation, and it is causing more trauma to Amahle’s family, who are still searching and still hoping for answers.

As South Africans, we need to be careful with the information we share, especially when it involves missing children. A single wrong post can create false hope, deepen someone’s grief, or damage another innocent family.

For any inquiries or clarifications regarding the child in the photo, the Mongale family has provided their contact details because they want the truth to be heard. They are trying to protect their daughter and also show compassion to Amahle’s parents.

Let us respect both families.

Let us stop the fake news.

And most importantly, let us continue to pray and support the search for the real Amahle.
