A W OMAN SEEKS HELP TO BE FREED FROM A SNAKE WHICH SHE EVEN CALLS HER HUSBAND

A WOMAN SEEKS HELP TO BE FREED FROM A SNAKE WHICH SHE EVEN CALLS HER HUSBAND

A woman from Lemondokop, Limpopo, tells a terrifying story that has left the community shocked and concerned.

I don’t sleep at home anymore.

I sleep at taverns, anywhere but my own place, because there is a big snake that sleeps with me. A snake that follows me like a husband.

I am from Lemondokop in Limpopo, and I am tired. I am scared. I need help.

People say money rituals choose sacrifices, and I believe someone chose me. I am poor, I have nothing, yet every night I sleep with a snake as if it is my husband. I even call it my husband because that is how close it is to me. It sleeps with me. It curls itself on my body like it belongs there.

When people gathered around me, listening to my story, they couldn’t see it. But I could feel it. I could see it. In the video, I told them that even if they don’t see the snake, it is there—curled comfortably on my back. Just because they can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there.

I tried to run away from it. I stopped going home. I sleep at taverns to escape, hoping it won’t find me. But it always does. No matter where I go, it follows me. It finds me every time.

My face and my voice show the truth. I am exhausted. I am desperate. I need to be freed from this snake.

This is my plea.

If there is any sangoma who can help remove this snake from my life, please come forward. The community has seen my pain, and they are even willing to donate so that I can be helped and set free.

She describes the snake as very long with a very big heard.

I just want my life back.
