I Went to African Casting Auditions 7 Times Before I Was Finally Given a Chance
A young Kenyan woman has shared her controversial journey into the adult film industry, revealing that while many of her friends were accepted on their first attempt, it took her seven auditions before she was finally given a chance.
According to her story, each time she attended the auditions, she was turned away with harsh criticism about her appearance. She says she was repeatedly told that she didn’t fit the expected look, which pushed her to constantly change her hairstyles, outfits, and overall presentation in hopes of being accepted.
Despite the repeated rejections, she refused to give up. On her seventh attempt, she was finally selected—but with a warning. She claims she was told that this would be her first and last opportunity, and that she should not expect to be called back again.
At the time, she says she didn’t mind. Being given a chance after so many failed attempts felt like a victory on its own.
To her surprise, shortly after the shoot, she received another call. This time, she felt confident enough to negotiate better terms, and her request was accepted. What she once thought would be a one-time opportunity turned into repeated work and continued communication.
She also spoke openly about her past, saying she is not ashamed of where she comes from. Having previously survived through difficult circumstances in Kenya, she believes her move to South Africa marked a turning point in her life.
More than anything, she says her goal has always been recognition, growth, and visibility. She hopes her work reaches a wider audience and that her fan base continues to grow, seeing her story as proof that persistence no matter how difficult the journey can eventually open doors.
